Case Study: Large-Scale Animal Vaccine Production Facility
GCS supported the delivery of a state-of-the-art animal vaccine production facility for Huvepharma / Biovet, a global leader in animal health and veterinary vaccines.
Located in Razgrad, Bulgaria, this large-scale project was designed to significantly increase production capacity, strengthen European supply, and meet the stringent regulatory demands of pharmaceutical manufacturing — all while adhering to an aggressive project timeline.
Project Highlights
The facility required a fully integrated controlled-environment solution capable of supporting high-volume vaccine production, strict regulatory compliance, and complex international coordination. Delivering on schedule without compromising quality or performance was critical.
GCS provided complete building systems tailored to pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturing environments. Our scope included extensive cleanroom ceilings, partitions, and specialized door systems designed to support containment areas and operational efficiency.
The project was commissioned in line with international standards and customer expectations, earning recognition for its architectural quality, ergonomics, and technological innovation. The facility was later awarded Building of the Year in the Industrial Building category in Bulgaria — a testament to the project’s execution and performance.
